Paul Verschueren, Cert SAS, MRCVS

Clinical Director – Paul is an Advanced Veterinary Practitioner and holds a certificate in Small Animal Surgery. Paul enjoys performing life changing airway surgery for our many bulldogs and orthopaedic surgery where he can get ‘in the zone’ In his spare time Paul enjoys cycling in different settings and at home he has a Jack Russell Terrier called Tiny and a Greyhound called Larry.

Egbert DeVries, MRCVS

Clinical Director – Egbert has been qualified for many years and joined us from running many practices in Wales. Egbert has a keen interest in learning new skills. In his spare time Egbert enjoys spending time with his family and the occasional exercise class.  

Christos Angelidis, MRCVS, Clinic Coordinator

Veterinary Surgeon Chris is our Greek God. Chris joined us from many busy practices with a strong idea of where he wanted to be. Chris has a keen interest in internal medicine and gives everything to his patients and owners. In his spare time Chris enjoys the gym, spending time back in Greece and enjoying his new found garden.

Katrin Parker MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon Katrin comes to us with a wealth of experience in busy veterinary practices. Katrin has a keen interest in surgery and is undergoing an advanced certificate in surgery. In her spare time Katrin enjoys dancing and the outdoors.

Rebecca Tremlett MRCVS

Rebecca qualified in 2019 and has been working in small animal practice ever since. She has a keen interest in dentistry and also enjoys working with our small furry patients! Rebecca has 3 rescue cats and 2 guinea pigs at home.


Victoria Duque Alcantara - MRCVS

Victoria finished her vet studies in 2022 in Madrid, Spain, and she has been working in the UK since 2023. She is very interested in soft tissue surgeries and emergencies. In her spare time Victoria loves climbing and discovering new cities and towns from this country.


Jacobo Canellas Blanco - MRCVS

Hello everyone! I am Jacobo, recently graduated in Madrid, with a passion for surgery and cooking. After strolling through various hospitals in Madrid, I am excited to join this team. When I’m not in the operating room, you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen and enjoying good times with friends and family. Ready to take care of your adorable pets and add a touch of humor to the clinic.

Maisie Bennett - Head Nurse

I’m Maisie, I have been qualified for 9 years & love everything about nursing. Seeing sick patients go home is truly one of the best feelings. At home I have Max who is a German shepherd cross who is the best boy (I know I am bias). I spend my spare time walking Max with my husband and we love exploring new area’s or you’ll find I am on court playing netball. I play 3 times a week and love it.


Caitlin Morton - Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse

Caitlin recently qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2022 after completing her studies at the royal veterinary college. She is currently undergoing an anaesthetic certificate which she hopes to complete next year. She has a keen interest in anaesthetics and physiotherapy. Outside of work Caitlin enjoys going out and socialising , she enjoys taking her Labrador Harley for long walks.

Siobhan Fray

Siobhan Fray - Student Veterinary Nurse

Siobhan studied Animal Science at University before moving abroad, where she worked across different veterinary clinics and charities. After returning to the UK, she began her nursing qualification and she is now a second year student at the Dick White Academy in Cambridge. Siobhan has a great interest in wards and nursing hospitalised patients and treats all fur babies as if they were her own (And her own is a very pampered pooch)


Louise Derrick - Student Veterinary Nurse

Louise is very near the end of her studies to become a qualified veterinary nurse! She used to live and work in the Swiss alps as a ski instructor for 8 years but her love for animals brought her back to the UK. Once she is fully qualified, she would like to start teaching again and share her knowledge and passion for nursing. Louise gets a little too attached to every patient and would like to take them all home. In her free time, Louise loves skiing, mountain biking, climbing, hiking, camping in her van and stand up paddleboarding! 

Emma Dove – Student Veterinary Nurse

I’m Emma, I have always said I wanted to work with animals since I was really young. I have worked with animals in different settings for a number of years and really feel like it’s my calling. I’m so excited to start my journey as a student veterinary nurse because helping animals is what I’ve always been passionate about and I love the work it entails, nursing them back to health, loving them and seeing them go home with their families really warms my heart. In my free time I love going for long walks with my golden retriever, Hudson

Sammie Tate - Student Veterinary Nurse

Sammie completed her Level 3 extended diploma in animal management in 2020. Since then she has loved working with animals and cannot wait to get stuck in her studies to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Kimberley Brown - Student Veterinary Nurse

Major animal lover, give me a cat, dog, rabbit, snake, lizard, bird anything and I will love it. I have my lovely fur baby Ash who always wants to be played with, even if he is an old boy. I also have my scaley babies, Tank my bearded dragon and Sunny my leopard gecko. I love to learn; I have 3 degrees Animal Science FdSc, Animal Biology BSc Honours and a Wildlife conservation MSc. My next education adventure is to become a specialist registered veterinary nurse in exotics. In my free time I love to be curled up on the couch watching films as my go to relaxation activity with either a cat on my lap, or a bearded dragon curled up on me under a blanket. 

Lauren Hackett – Student Veterinary Nurse

I’m Lauren and I have been working with a variety of animals for the past 13 years. My most recent adventure was running a dog walking/training business. Previous to that I was an Animal Care Assistant for the RSPCA and now i’m studying to become a Veterinary Nurse which I’m so excited about! 

At home I have 2 of the most important things in my life- my children Oscar & Elsie (some days it is like owning animals with them both!) 


Sophie Moriarty - Patient Care Assistant

I love meeting and greeting all clients and seeing all your lovely animals. I have a strong passion for post operative care. I make sure all the cuddles and love are given. At home I have a daughter named Skye who always keeps me on my toes. She like me is obsessed with all things four legged and fury! 

Vanessa Pheby - Veterinary Care Assistant

I started in November 2020 as a Patient Care Assistant, after working in boarding kennels for 5 years. I am currently a Veterinary Care Assistant.
My hobbies are going to the cinema, meeting up with friends and looking after my 3 cats Hubble, Monty and Rosemary.


Sarah Bennett, RVN - Operations Manager

Sarah joined us in 2020 during COVID from running a rehabilitation centre in Northamptonshire. Sarah is a qualified veterinary nurse of over 20 years and shares her home with her French Bulldog DJ Dottmeister, her English Bulldog David Guetta and her new re-home one eyed Stevie Wonder!

Janice Grimward - Head Receptionist

Janice is our head receptionist for the practice and will be the one found to be greeting you when you come into the practice. Janice spends her spare time with her cats Luna and Candy or is out running everyday

Emma Leeder - Facilities Manager

Emma has been with the practice for many years in a variety of job roles. Emma now looks after the insurance for all clients, ordering of drugs, reception, property maintenance and a range of other tasks. In her spare time Emma will be found at the yard caring for her horse Amara or at home with her cat Justin.
