Paul Verschueren, Cert SAS, MRCVS

Clinical Director – Paul is an Advanced Veterinary Practitioner and holds a certificate in Small Animal Surgery. Paul enjoys performing life changing airway surgery for our many bulldogs and orthopaedic surgery where he can get ‘in the zone’ In his spare time Paul enjoys cycling in different settings and at home he has a Jack Russell Terrier called Tiny and a Greyhound called Larry.

Egbert DeVries, MRCVS

Clinical Director – Egbert has been qualified for many years and joined us from running many practices in Wales. Egbert has a keen interest in learning new skills. In his spare time Egbert enjoys spending time with his family and the occasional exercise class.  

Christos Angelidis, MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon Chris is our Greek God. Chris joined us from many busy practices with a strong idea of where he wanted to be. Chris has a keen interest in internal medicine and gives everything to his patients and owners. In his spare time Chris enjoys the gym, spending time back in Greece and enjoying his new found garden.

Emma Soudant MRCVS

Emma graduated from vet school in Ghent, Belgium specialising in companion animals in 2022 and has since then been working with us. She’s eager to put her knowledge into use in practice and she loves the combination of consultations and surgery. In her free time she goes to sniffer class with her Australian Kelpie Tripel and loves to explore the British countryside.

 

Rebecca Tremlett MRCVS

Rebecca qualified in 2019 and has been working in small animal practice ever since. She has a keen interest in dentistry and also enjoys working with our small furry patients! Rebecca has 3 rescue cats and 2 guinea pigs at home.

Katrin Parker MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon Katrin comes to us with a wealth of experience in busy veterinary practices. Katrin has a keen interest in surgery and is undergoing an advanced certificate in surgery. In her spare time Katrin enjoys dancing and the outdoors.

NURSING TEAM

Maisie Bennett - Head Nurse

I’m Maisie, I have been qualified for 9 years & love everything about nursing. Seeing sick patients go home is truly one of the best feelings. At home I have Max who is a German shepherd cross who is the best boy (I know I am bias). I spend my spare time walking Max with my husband and we love exploring new area’s or you’ll find I am on court playing netball. I play 3 times a week and love it.

Caitlin Morton RVN

Abigail Coffey SVN

Abi has spent 3 years studying Veterinary nursing at The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and has experience working in other veterinary practices and in the RVC Queen Mother Hospital for Animals (QMHA). Abi has a keen interest in nurse clinics, theatre, and ward nursing. Abi has a kitten who was rescued during placement, and she likes to try and make vet visits less stressful for all our furry friends.
Siobhan Fray

Siobhan Fray SVN

Siobhan studied Animal Science at University before moving abroad, where she worked across different veterinary clinics and charities. After returning to the UK, she began her nursing qualification and she is now a second year student at the Dick White Academy in Cambridge. Siobhan has a great interest in wards and nursing hospitalised patients and treats all fur babies as if they were her own (And her own is a very pampered pooch)

Louise Derrick SVN

Lily Marks SVN

Student Veterinary Nurse Lily joined us with experience of working in busy veterinary practices. Lily started her qualification in September and is excited for learning more and becoming a registered veterinary nurse. In her spare time Lily likes to help any animal that needs a home and also look after her brood at home.

Amy Goddard SVN

Amy joined us after studying zoology at university. Amy enjoys being out in nature, often camping and kayaking in her spare time. Amy enjoys all aspects of nursing, especially anaesthesia and is eager to complete her studies to become a registered veterinary nurse 

Ellicia Tidy SVN

Ellicia joined us after interning im Costa Rica within a wildlife clinic. Elllicia says  ‘I feel in love with working within the veterinary field and now I am taking the next steps towards a career as a student veterinary nurse’.

Sammie Tate SVN

Sammie completed her Level 3 extended diploma in animal management in 2020. Since then she has loved working with animals and cannot wait to get stuck in her studies to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Vanessa Pheby PCA

I started in November 2020 as a Patient Care Assistant, after working in boarding kennels for 5 years. I am currently studying to become a Veterinary Care Assistant.
My hobbies are going to the cinema, meeting up with friends and looking after my 3 cats Hubble, Monty and Rosemary.

Sophie Moriarty PCA

RECEPTION TEAM

Sarah Bennett, RVN

Practice Manager – Sarah joined us from running a rehabilitation centre in Northamptonshire. Sarah is a qualified veterinary nurse of over 20 years and shares her home with her French Bulldog DJ Dottmeister and her English Bulldog David Guetta.

Janice Grimward

Head Receptionist Janice is our head receptionist for the practice and will be the one found to be greeting you when you come into the practice. Janice spends her spare time with her cats Luna and Candy or is out running everyday

Emma Leeder

Practice Administrator Emma has been with the practice for many years in a variety of job roles. Emma now looks after the insurance for all clients, ordering of drugs, reception, property maintenance and a range of other tasks. In her spare time Emma will be found at the yard caring for her horse Amara or at home with her cat Justin.
